Dinah

A daily horoscope, by text

One read a morning. Written for the sky that day.

Not a fortune cookie. Every read starts from the real positions of the planets that morning, then says one specific thing you might actually recognise.

Free for 7 days, then $8.99/month. Cancel any time by replying STOP — one word, and the billing stops with it.

How it works

  1. Text to startTap the button above, scan the code, or send the word on the ad. Dinah replies in your normal messages app — there's no app to download.
  2. Answer two questionsYour birthday, and what time you'd like your read. That's the whole setup.
  3. It arrives every morningOne read, at your time, in your timezone. Reply any time to change your sign, pause, or stop.

What you're paying for

Your first week is free and takes no card. If you decide to keep it, it's $8.99 a month, charged to a card — never to your phone bill. Dinah doesn't use carrier billing, so nothing about it ever appears on your mobile account.

You're shown the price that applies to you before you agree to anything — in the message, at checkout, and on every receipt — and that's the only price you're ever charged. It doesn't change while you're subscribed unless we tell you first and give you the chance to leave.

If you do nothing when the free week ends, you aren't charged. You keep getting a shortened version of the daily read until you either subscribe or text STOP.

Cancelling takes one word. Reply STOP and two things happen at once: the messages end, and the subscription is cancelled. We never keep billing someone we've stopped messaging. You can also manage or cancel your subscription from the billing page linked in any receipt.

What Dinah isn't

Horoscopes are entertainment. Dinah doesn't give medical, financial, legal or relationship advice, and won't tell you what to do about your health, your money or your job. If a read ever reads like a directive with consequences, that's a bug — tell us.

Dinah is for adults. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up, and if it shows you're under 18 we won't subscribe you.
